Global finance

SPDR® Gold Shares — the web platform behind a $70 billion ETF

spdrgoldshares.com is the public face of the world's largest gold exchange-traded fund — roughly $70 billion in assets, trading on the New York Stock Exchange. Abraxor architected and ran its entire online infrastructure.

  • Highly available, live data feed to NYSE — engineered for redundancy end to end, so published fund data stays live and correct throughout the trading day.
  • Infrastructure sized for the traffic spikes that follow gold-price moves and market events.
  • The discipline institutional finance expects: monitored, repeatable, auditable operations.

International organisations

United Nations DESA — 30+ websites in the UN's six official languages

At United Nations Headquarters in New York, we worked with the Department of Economic and Social Affairs on more than thirty websites published in the six official UN languages — Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish — including the Division for Social Policy and Development (DSPD).

  • WCAG AAA-compliant website for the UN Programme on Disability — accessibility at the highest level of the standard, for the organisation that sets the bar on inclusion.
  • Architected a greenfield AWS cloud platform replacing the legacy VM estate, with a CI system giving editors one-click builds of ~30 highly available websites.
  • Multilingual publishing at scale — right-to-left and CJK typography included — and mentoring for a team of 40.

UK government

Cloud infrastructure for the Insolvency Service, Disclosure Scotland and HMRC

We build and operate cloud infrastructure for UK government bodies whose services citizens depend on — where security, availability and compliance are the starting point, not an afterthought.

  • HMRC — designed a greenfield AWS microservice architecture delivered with Terraform; the resulting stack was adopted as the standard pattern across the Messaging Group.
  • Insolvency Service — production deployment pipelines for containerised services, with a serverless AWS back end in Terraform and highly available .NET/Python microservices.
  • Disclosure Scotland — Kubernetes (EKS) platform with OIDC single sign-on, GitOps delivery, and automated AWS account vending for developer teams.

Capabilities

Full-stack web development

From content platforms to data-driven applications — designed, built and shipped by one accountable team.

Cloud infrastructure

Platform engineering, infrastructure as code and migrations on AWS and beyond — for departments, funds and agencies.

High-availability systems

Redundant, monitored architectures for data feeds and services that cannot go down during the trading day.

Accessibility

WCAG AAA delivered in production for the United Nations — not a checkbox, a craft. This site practises what we pitch.
